Ross Kilkenny brings a diverse culinary background as the newly appointed Executive Chef at Hotel Jerome, with over 20 years of experience and an established resumé working at several Michelin starred restaurants, Relais and Châteaux properties, and luxury resorts.
A graduate of Santa Barbara City College and later the prestigious Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, N.Y, his training in classic French cuisine is complemented with more than 10 years’ experience in some of America’s top eateries, including the River Cafe in Brooklyn, N.Y., Bouchon in Yountville, and the Martini House and Meadowood in St. Helena.
A new Aspenite, Chef Kilkenny has chosen to relocate from the California area, where he was most recently the Principal & CEO of Mise en Place in Truckee, and the Executive Sous Chef for the Ritz Carlton in Lake Tahoe. He was also the Executive Chef at Calistoga Ranch, an Auberge Resort in the Napa Valley. He brings with him his Napa Valley flair and passion for sourcing local products to frame his bold flavors.
In his free time (whenever he’s not in the kitchen), Ross enjoys being outdoors, and is an avid Snowboarder, cyclist, rock climber, hiker, and backpacker.
